Chronic Pain for 20 years: within a month of starting treatment problems “were a distant memory”

1. The approximate onset of chiropractic care (date):

January 27, 2003 before that on and off for several years, but non-consistent and very few benefits as a result.

2. The problems, symptoms or ailments you were troubled with prior to chiropractic care:

The list can be endless … back pain, left knee, left foot pain, digestive problems, migraines, headaches, chest tightness, neck and shoulder pain, stomach problems, sciatica (right side), fatigue, poor sleep, and constant frustration over chronic suffering.

3. The number of weeks, months or years you had these problems:

As least 20 years since the onset of the symptoms.

4. The number of doctors seen and the type of drugs taken (if any) for these problems:

I’ve seen numerous doctors (a couple of them chiropractors), countless tests that say my organs are “normal” yet found no solution or cause of symptoms.  Medications and every painkiller, anti-inflammatories, migraine medication, antacids, antibiotics, etc.

5. The extent to which your normal life was interrupted due to these health problems:

Reduced capability to exercise and be active because of pain and stiffness.  Loss of time from work and loss of income.  Increased stress symptoms from worrying about all of these ailments.  Weight gain.

6. The length of treatment in visits or time before the results of chiropractic care became apparent:

I was in a lot pain and it took about 2 weeks before the pain completely subsided but within a month of starting chiropractic care, most of my problems were a distant memory.

7. Your impression of the general health benefits of chiropractic care and specifically, how it helped you:

I can’t believe it took me so long to include Chiropractic Care into my lifestyle.  I feel as if I cheated myself from all the good things for such a long time.  I feel like a new person.  Chiropractic care is something I will continue to include in my life.
